The other day I spoke to a friend at the court house who wore a badge a long time, has an honorable reputation and consider him salt of the earth.
On the other end of the spectrum I've seen young guy's who act like everyone owes them worship. They lie on the job and aught not to have a position where people's destinies depend on their words.
If that offends any LEO, that's likely because you are spiritualy blind and arrogant. An honest man would recognize good and bad in many different jobs. They would honor the good and dispise the evil in those positions. I never assumed the worse of any LEOs or prison guards on here. I've known plenty and served with many who became preachers. The wicked ones can go play on the interstate. I've known a couple of those too.
