I understand the "importance" of petitioning our elected officials.
And they do take them seriously.

The Dems do an outstanding job of staying on point and keeping everyone
in line. Plus, other than abortion, he is the party line.
Pat Toomey (R) was the darling of the Religious Right.
Until recently. Now his true RINO heart has been exposed.
And he is retiring to return to the public sector. (PAYOFF TIME!)
Ain't wasting stamps and time on that POS.

Honestly, in this time and place, how many of them can be influenced?
Unfortunately, some republicans can be. The Dems are rock solid.

Schumer will let him bluster.
He will let him stray on some things. Unimportant, or huge majority votes where his vote doesn't matter. He won't be upsetting any big decisions.
Only enough to get re-elected.
He even voted against Trump when it didn't matter.
Schumer made him take that hit just to keep the vote unanimous.
