I have a 25# recurve that my 7yo and I shoot. It always had a pretty nasty vibration to it.
I remembered this vid and finally followed up with doing something about it. It works as well or better than any other string silencer I've tried.
The little recurve is a smooth shooter now.

You bet.

I did another thing to quiet down the string slap on the limbs. Bought some Velcro tape on Amazon, and put strips of it about 4 inches long on the string grooves. That helped quiet it down a bit more.
