I got a number of boxes of "Frontier" (I think this is Hornady) .220 Swift ammo at a gun shop auction twenty-five years ago. It was 50, 55, and 60 grain ammo. I've only had one .220 Swift , a Ruger 77V. I still have this rifle that I bought used thirty or so years ago, but it's now on its second barrel. As I recall, the Frontier/ Hornady ammo shot very well, but I don't remember chronographing any of it. I'm still using some of the brass and it's good brass.
