Friends of all stripes are the worst people to talk to about relationship issues - they just want you to be happy which 100/100 means dropping the "other" - rather than realizing you're the problem and need to get straight - which can be likely true in a lot of cases. Man and woman.

Women hate each other. They simply want to have or take what another has.
Seen it happen many times and had it attempted to me back in the day. Even significant other's best friends will often start getting flirty, all touchy - feely, make strong sexually suggestive remarks when alone with you, not necessarily because they want to climb between the sheets with you but just to see if you're a better catch than theirs is.
