ER Shaw would likely build a 358 for you. I kept meaning to have a 358 bored out or built. Not sure what keeps holding me up. Love the cartridge; have it in a couple BLR's.

I do have a Savage with Douglas barrel in 35 Whelen. It's 1:12, but it still does surprisingly well with 200grn. For deer I like the 220grn Speers. I've used them in all of my 35 calibers from 35 rem to 35 whelen, and I've been happy with all of them. I'm sure the flat meplat is horrible for BC, but at the 50 yds or less that I shoot most deer in the thick cut over growth I typically hunt, it really doesn't matter.
