I think you will really like the Savage 110 Ultralite, in whatever caliber you choose. My own, a RH in 6.5 PRC, has proven to be very accurate with both my worked up handloads and factory Hornady 143 gr. ammo. Did you happen to weigh yours before you put optics on it. I was watching a review on a 280AI the guy said it weight 6 lbs 4 oz, however the advertised weight is 5.85 lbs. Have you found that yours weighed the same or more than advertised?


I did weigh mine, it was also at 6lb. 4oz. I suspect the 'advertised' weight was with the lightest of the spacers for the Accufit stock. I mounted a Leupold VX-3HD 4.5-14x40 scope on mine, with Talley LW mounts, and the final weight is 7.5 lbs.
