Thus far, I've been more than disappointed in every R presidential candidate I've voted for except for President Trump and Bob Dole (likely just because he lost).
W. has worked hard in his retirement to be sure and certain I regret voting for him twice. His old man was the original "new world order" guy who rode Reagan's coattails expecting to serve two terms because he had been VP and was "better than Bill Clinton". McCain and Romney were like bad punchlines.
I guess I'd be happier if I quit my job, let my hair grow out, start smoking dope and voting democrat. Folks like that seem rarely disappointed......
