* hunt wild sheep- first ( then mountain goat, mule deer, bull Elk, in that order)
* Don't compromise on footware
* hunt alone( unless you take a neighbor kid)
* a compact 2 x7 rifle scope is enough
* anything less than elite binoculars ....is not good enough
* never allow yourself to be out of shape
* Don't bother with any chambering, beyond the 30/06 and it's get
* Don't let " old sawbones" touch my shoulder....too many shoulder surgeries.
* Only accept advise from Geezer's. those who have been in the trenches ( y'know those who experienced the blood, sweat and tears of a tough hunting life)
* Keep , Jesus close....no matter what you do.
