Ive been on several reservations and this is always the recurring theme. But they’re at one with the earth! Used to spend a lot of time in BC. White man gets to catch only a couple of salmon. The indians will gill net the entire bleeping river! One guy I worked with caught over 2000# of salmon over a weekend doing it. “Those fish are belonging to us, it’s our way of life”. Along with the massive drug and alcohol usage on the rez. AND up there, they don’t pay any taxes! But they sure get all the bennies.
