I'm not a pilot but sometimes I get to ride along. This was a weekend trip from Houston, Texas to Chanute, Kansas back in November 2008. A friend (who was the pilot) and I went to visit the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum in Chanute, Kansas.

That's the Red River which is the border between Texas and Oklahoma. We were headed south returning to Houston.
