After mulling over stuff for the last 3 or 4 weeks.
I took off the Sightron SII 3-9x42 on the .45 Kodiak pro mag.
Put it away for a spare in case one of the other 3 on my centerfires takes a dump....
Was a toss up between a burris FF II 3-9×40 or this Crimson Trace Brushline 3-9×40.
Both priced similar

Burris kinda limited on total MOA versus the Crimson Trace.
Which you might need with a ML...
Burris was a fast focus occular
Crimson trace is a lock ring occular

Never been a fan of fast focus
The occulars are usually can shaped and oversized IMO.
Plus that inner and outer sleeve assembly equals extra parts and screams water and crap gets in the gap...

Burris factory in phillipines cant find much info on em.
Crimson trace factory in phillipines supposedly factories that made nikon and sightron scopes.

Crimson trace turret adjustments firm and positive, well defined..
Burris seemed faint and soft, hard to feel it seemed, too light.

Bought the Crimson Trace.
Head out to slumlords tommorow and zero the wpn.
Gonna play around with blue harvester crush rib sabots and the .40 cal 195 gr barnes bullet combo.

And the same .40 cal 195 gr barnes bullet with the tan sabot I have been using forever.
