This past week I went to a "new" logging road which ultimately descended into a gorge. I put them on before I fired and amazingly the recoil was totally pleasant! It was like... puffffish. But physics said it hit me with 32 ft-lbs of kinetic energy, yet it was just a slightly heavy push like sportsmen give one another when they've scored a goal.
