O'Biden's recent EO strongly suggesting that Contracting Officers (on all future Federal Contracts) include the mandatory jab supplemental provision... is an very interesting kettle of fish.
99% of Dan's subs are small shop tradesman (most have 6-20 employees... so no mandates from the employer... and voluntary Jabs are super low). BUT since the contract is Federal... 100% compliance with the Jab will be required.
Most of the trades are slammed with other non Federal work anyway.
I can see a strong headed electrician saying... "You require me to get the jab... OK, my rate is $200 per hour now."
As for Mexicans and Illegals... NOPE, mandatory background checks and clearance/escorts.
Going to be fascinating how the bid/cost to .GOV shakes out. I suspect bids will be coming in at 200% and 300% over normal... we will see.
Replace a sidewalk and wire a few new bollards... "OK... that will be $788,000 please".
