I have been wearing Russells since the 80s. Partly because I have big wide feet and most off the shelf boots aren't wide enough. They cost 4 to600 up front, but they.will last for many years if they are properly cared for. They can replace the soles if you wear them out. My first pair lasted 18 years when I hunted many days and walked many miles. Mine don't leak If I cross a creek. Or walk along way through mud and wet grass. The two pairs I have now are the last ones I will ever need for hunting.
