^^^^^^^This. Would have had to change the entire housing on a Tundra and I got that information from three different sources. Whether they are more or less effective I don't know but they would not work as well as a dedicated housing.


And the factory LED’s assemblies are barely better than the halogen. Most folks won’t believe it because they “look” brighter but headlights are now tested on new cars. The effective distance illumination between factory halogens and factory LEDs are almost the same. Some vehicles like the Tacoma, have way better lighting with the factory LEDs, but not the tundra.
