So my brother in law came down with COVID at thanksgiving and got through it all but had lingering long term COVID lung issues which is not unusual. This Christmas Day he went under emergency surgery to remove a large blood clot in his lungs. This virus has more ways to get you than you can count. He is expected to make a full recovery and be home soon. When I was in the hospital March of 2020 they were very pro active with using blood thinners on any admitted COVID patients. For those like my brother in law who did not need hospitalization the damage to the lungs and other organs still may present itself well after the virus is allegedly done. Just a FYI
