I can't agree with all of that. Everyone I know that died with the China flu had other pre-existing health conditions, and that's the truth. But this latest flu strain seemed to preyed on the fat and sickly more so than the other previous strains of flu.
It's a cold virus, not the flu.

The common cold is must often caused by a rhinovirus, but to your point, there are coronaviruses that cause the common cold. Different coronaviruses.
It killed my wife’s elderly aunt. It put my healthy 55 year old buddy in the ICU for 6 days. It’s not the common cold in any way shape or form.
