Right as I shot, he shifted his hips back, so what started as a very slight quartering to shot aimed dead on the shoulder turned into a full quartering to shot that hit just in front of the onside shoulder. The bullet exited near the rear of the offside ribs. He went about 65 yards, the last 15 of which he was plowing with his lower jaw.
