I remember many...many years ago Jim Zumbo penned an remark in "Outdoor Life" magazine the 7 Mag killed like a 30-06. Just making that statement damn near broke my heart... always thinking the 7Mag was way more cartridge.
In one of the books he wrote concerning Elk hunting he loved the 7 mag and said it was better then his 30-06 he always carried. Go Figure
