I just bought some 100 TTSX’s here on the fire. Hopefully I’ll get the 25-06 out shooting again. Last time out with it I used a Hornady SST bullet. It caused a great amount of damage in the entrance and the exit was a 1/4” hole. I was told it might have been an early batch, I don’t know.
The trouble with the 25-06 in the distant past, at least by my observation, was the bullets were too fragile or they didn’t open up. After partitions and other better designed bullets came out I bought my first 25-06. I’d think that TTSX bullets would work very well, I’ll see.
