No truly loving parent would choose to mutilate a child - via chemicals, surgery or any other action - preempting very important aspects of the future of a helpless human being. There was a time - not so very long ago - when the moral fiber of this country would not allow such atrocity. The madness in this particular instance is only part of a much larger mass of moral degradation in our culture. Sadness.
