Get the kit. Rough Country steering stabilizer, something like that.

I used to go 55 mph and both hands on the wheel, white knuckled.
Installed one on 96 Dodge 2500 4wd, cummins with 275,000 miles.

Now I can go 70 mph and answer the phone.
