The seller listed the serial number as 363472 with a year of manufacture of 1936 which should be close for this serial number. (Maybe 1937) But look at photos 18 and 22. The buttplate and barrel address are consistent with a rifle manufactured in 1927-1928. It's hard to tell, but the receiver blue looks like it might be the high gloss blue found in the 1928 time frame. I asked the seller if the serial numbers matched, but I received no response. The wood to metal fit all looks good, and it doesn't appear like a "bubba" job to me. But I can't explain the serial number and barrel address discrepancies.

Any thoughts?
