Well, stx - if my wife is helping, or nearby doing her own project, I get half my work done in twice or 3 times what it should take for my whole job..
Not counting my own efups....
Mrs. Geno and I hadn't been together very long and I decided to build a patio where a mud hole had been at her back door. Got the grading/drainage worked out and then asked her and her son if they wanted to help with the carpentry part. Took at least 5 times as long as it would have - lol. She was amazed that I didn't give anyone any grief for bending nails over or nailing/screwing stuff on in the wrong place/direction/etc. My response was "you have to learn how to do it somehow, might as well be pleasant. There's nothing we can do to this project that can't be undone and sorted out".
