Wrangler rip stop cargo pants from Walmart for me. I gave up on denim years ago. When you sweat they grow 2-3 sizes and heavy like a wet quilt.
Wrangler cargos are lightweight, comfortable, normal man size hands can fit in the front pockets, fairly tough and not too expensive. If I rip a hole while working on barbed wire fences or working cattle I just iron on a patch and good as new.
