Every year we go down to the Florida Keys for a 10-14 day fishing trip. We bring 150qt coolers and ice the catch. Its kind of a pain in the azz. Now we bring a chest freezer with a small honda portable generator. Its much easier. Don't have to mess with ice at all. It works great. I'm sure it would work with Elk/Deer meat.
