Could someone please tell me when Winchester stopped making Supergrade .375 H & H's? I have a New Haven Supergrade .338 WM I bought new in the 1990's and would like to get similar in .375. The weight is around 8 lb 2 oz (without scope or mounts) and I want a .375 the same weight with a shorter barrel to make up for its heavier larger diameter barrel. The Safari Grade is way too heavy at around 9 lb 2oz. Also, the pre-64 .375 Supergrades that I have seen don't appear to have cross-bolts, so did these often split their stocks from .375 recoil? Did they ever put cross-bolts in the Supergrade .375's (one or two)? Thank you.
