While the strawberries didn't 'pulverize' they instead froze hard as a rock and was like eating pebble ice cream. Wound up having to spit the strawberries out one by one so as not to risk chipping a tooth.
"Patience, grasshopper"- - - - -when you encounter one of those pieces of hard-frozen fruit just tuck it "between cheek and gum" like a dip of Skoal, and let it thaw slowly. Eating home brewed ice cream isn't a sprint- - - -it's more like a leisurely stroll in the park.
