Seems like if I actually cared about selling and it really was just fingerprints... I'd just send you a photo of them wiped off. Seller might be telling the truth but if they aren't willing to lift a finger for sale I'd probably steer clear anyway.
Yeah, how hard is it to wipe a rifle down before taking pics? Or taking new pics for a potential buyer? Not very..
