I used to have one with the heavy barrel and I topped it with a 6x24 Bausch & Lomb. It was my prairie dog gun and I tipped over some coyotes at long range too. In a fit of extreme stupidity I traded it for a 243.
A 55 Ballistic Tip in the 243 is just more of the same.
