Michael great report. In regards to the game numbers, I have been going to Namibia for 10+ years off and on. So I have also seen the impact of the drought. This year (March) after two good years of rainfall I saw plenty of game animals in the Kunene. With plenty to eat and plenty of water around the game has dispersed and not centered around waterholes. A good friend of mine is doing most of the tracking for WWF and MEFT in the Kunene. His reports are populations are recovering very well. I believe the challenge with high fenced game farms is the populations are slower to recover.

All I can say is this year there was a considerable difference from the last five years so hopefully Namibia is on the upswing. For all the guys in tourism and hunting there is light at the end of the tunnel. Between the drought and pandemic they have taken one hell of a beating.
