Ky221 what rifle and ammo did you use on the Tom and bull....mb
I took my Model 700 in 308.
I wanted to roll with something more "romantic" but at the end of the day it just checked too many boxes for me. I've been shooting it ALOT since I had it spun up a couple years ago. (though you couldn't tell by some of my misses). I didn't use a fancy bullet either. I used s regular 150g Hornady Interlock going 2800fps. I chose that bullet for a few reasons. One being that my rifle prints them into 1/2 MOA and two I had used them on deer and pigs numerous times in the past and figured they would be about perfect for ole spots. Turns out it worked well on the kudu too. Which only made it 30 yards before piling up. I remember Jan telling me the amount of damage that "the little 150" did was quite remarkable.
