Had a couple over the years-great hunting rifles-easy and handy to carry-not obnoxious at all for me to shoot multiple critters in one sitting with-filled several deer tags at once and multiple hogs in one sitting with no lingering hearing issues or flinch.
Always ended up selling though-stupid reasons but short and handy should be short action-if i would have come across a tang safety UL .308 at a good deal, I might just sell most all others and be very content hunting with it.
