You must not have been through there recently. I-15 through SLC to Provo is six lanes in each direction.

It has been 3 years since I was through but I have to through it again in about 2 weeks and I am already dreading it. Unless things have changed they will have multiple lanes shut down for construction but at least it should be a bit of an improvement.

Yes, 6 lanes each way and wall-to-wall crazies, bumper to bumper 85-90 mph. I think Utah people are all convinced they are going to heaven as they drive with no fear of death.
