Actually out on bare ground north of Guthrie TX the hogs would eat it all pretty quick, coyotes maybe also.
I grew up in West Texas. It always amazed me with thousands of dirt roads out in the middle of fricking nowhere out there some goober would dump a body right off the highway. One guy even used a fricking backhoe to dig a hole like 100 yards from his house to put a body in on his farm, like that wouldn't look suspicious when the police showed up looking for his missing girlfriend..
