I find it very interesting to look at the addresses of the posters. For the most part, all are west of the Mississippi. One was from N.Y. and his favorite is bass. I am from the east and travel fron N.H. to N.Y. almost weekly. 300 mile drive to be exact. I fish Lake Ontario and couldn't love anything much more. My first trip out was in 1988 and 10 days later I sunk $18,000 into a boat, trailer and equipment. We fish browns, steelehead, and Kings. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. Trolling for big water fish, to me, is akin to big game hunting. I love the time on the water with my wife and family.
