No wind is an asset

Yes wind is a game changer open areas can be windy, down range trees/wind breakers calm or the other way around, it gets tricky. I do not think alot of people know how many practice long range shooting mostly to 1000 yards with targets at different distance out to 1000. Some of these guys shoot more in a month than I do in a couple years.
With a chronograph, ballistic apps, range finders and a accurate rifle with good glass and practice a person can get quite good. I have a 6.5 Creedmoor HMR/Vortex Razor super accurate and others but am using a 300 wm for hunting. It's a Ridgeline and looks like it will be a .5" rifle.
