I figure pretty much everyone has shot groups or checked zero off of a vehicle at some point.

Trying to see what a rifle will really do, shooting off the hood was never the best for me when doing load development. Between the height being to high or low and the wind moving the vehicle just enough to makes things a little wonky. A quick shot or two to check zero, the hood will work.

I'd much rather go prone with a bipod or bag than shoot off the hood.
