As to primer sizes. I have 3 lots of Remington 9½ primers. They all measure smaller in diameter than any other primer I've used. Very noticeable when seating. I just figured they were all that way

I had the same thing happen only I bought 200 pieces of Norma 22-250 brass and had to use a primer pocket uniformer on every one.......then they were sooooo tight the only primers I could get to go in were Remington 91/2's
I still have to use Norma in one of my rifles because Lapua 22-250 brass is .005" bigger at the base than any other brand and gets stuck in the chamber
