I swear every bow hunting show I see now they "back out", no matter how good the shot.
Really hate it when they do it 80-90 degree weather, "lets wait til morning". Shows you antlers are more important than meat.
To be honest I haven't seen many "good" shots come from these clowns on the shows. Most are too far back.
Not nearly as much lung behind the shoulder as most believe. 3-4" back is getting into liver territory, especially if low and back.
Take that and then an arrow that may kick back a little at impact and we now have a lovely gut shot.
I will stick with my straight up the leg and low with a bow.
