Scrooster: I'll go you one better!
I use the "half sheet" style paper towels and once I tear off a single "half sheet" I (like you) tear it in half for many uses.
Often if I have just cleaned up some clear water or dried my freshly washed reading glasses with that half of a half sheet I will set it aside and after it dries use it again for non-critical things.
Object here is saving money, for more guns and ammo - more than "saving trees".
I do not seem to have the "three sheets problems" others have?
