Note to self: Don't mention any differences after moving to Utah.
This went well beyond mentioning differences. Don’t move to Utah and 6 weeks in tell those dumb [bleep] how stupid they are and tell them to get their laws in line with the place you just left.
He already knew about the dry counties before moving there. He works for a winery after all. No one forced him to move here.
Bingo. I believe he was also advised specifically to avoid this behavior, by folks who understand the lay of the land and/or have detectable amounts of good sense. I hope the guy makes good wine, because he's not likely to make good friends in Arkansas like this.
