The expensive guys will get my 264 project. Probably PacNor as ceracote is listed as part of their service. Though I have not checked yet. Douglas or others may do so also.

24 vs 26, yes. We are in a world of sagebrush, cheatgrass, and interspersed light timber. Ponderosa, doug fir, and lodgepole typically with an occasional quakie grove.

Nothing in which the extra barrel length would be a handicap.

And hell, extra barrel can always be removed. Not so the the reverse.
