If you don’t want to play frontiersman, and your state doesn’t have any restrictions on bullets, propellants, sights, or ignitions, one of the break-action in-lines is the easy button. If I were going to play in that pool again, I’d start looking at the CVAs. There’s also an American-made model I can’t quite recall that’s very light and handy, and also pretty spendy.
