My 45-70 Marlin could use an extra .1” to feed the cast bullets I like. I understand that there’s a modification that can be made to do this. I wonder if Ruger’s 45-70 will feed a little longer than standard cartridges.
You can also gather up the brass from the 325gr Hornady ammo as it is a tenth shorter.
