No strong itch for anything much, but I'd be tempted by a 220 Swift in a pre64 M70.Also,in years past the 257 Roberts was the cartidge that I liked best in that general category. But these days, in its' place, and for what I'd use it for(varmints,some antelope hunting,coyotes, and a lot of range use), I'd like a 6.5/284 in an8-8.5 lb rifle.The range of bullets is pretty similar, only (what?).007 diff in bore diameter, and I'm thinking it will be easier to get real top-shelf accuracy from the 6.5 bore than the 25 with Burgers and all.I'd expect recoil to be trifling.

With a 125 Partition or 120TSX, it might kill a deer,too...
