You might think about rebarreling a Savage 110 with an Adams & Bennett blued .338-06 24" Mag barrel from Midway for $130. They just screw in. I found a new Sav 111 Laminate for mine when the barrels were on sale for $90. Then I sold the new .30-06 barrel. Good luck.
