It was so-so.
I shot a Kansas buck opening day, September 12th, and then spent the next 3 and 1/2 months regretting having pulled the trigger so soon.
I did bow and gun hunt Missouri quite a bit, and saw dozens of bucks, but few shooters, and didn't punch a tag.
