I once had a Weatherby Mark V "Ultralightweight" .338-06,
traded it off after finding a 1909 Argentine Mauser .338-06 in what appears to be an MPI stock, ho hum,
done by unknown gunsmith.
It will do, as long as the unknown smith used a properly heat-treated action, I have heard it said.
I do appreciate the load data here to work up to, seeing if I can set the recoil lugs back, heh-heh-heh.
